Summer is upon us. Well at least it feels like it lately in 85 degree Los Angeles. This means its time to seek out the nearest body of water, bask in the sun, and carry along some interesting reading/looking materials aka books. Here are a few of the good ones we’ve been fixated on lately, poolside of course. Moving clockwise:
Grace: A Memoir by Grace Coddington
-A glimpse into the amazing life of the creative director of Vogue. She’s the backbone of it all and we have so much respect for her.
Visionaire No. 60: Religion - by Riccardo Tisci in Collab with Givenchy
-A fancy book if we ever saw one! Curated by Givenchy designer, Riccardo Tisci, this book brings together art, photography and fashion by some amazing individuals with the common thread of religion. A seriously intense but beautiful publication.
Balenciaga and Spain - by Hamish Bowles
-The OG Balenciaga, we mean like the born-in-1895 Cristóbal Balenciaga…this book goes into the ways Spanish culture, history and art influenced the designer, who was known as “Fashion’s Picasso” for good reason. Definitely a source of inspo.
Pools - by Kelly Klein
-Every photo in this book is something we wouldn’t mind dipping into….because every photo is of an amazing pool, in an amazing place, in some amazing era of the past.
Read away foxes!
